The cartoon impressed me a lot. It made me plunge into the fairy tale! Its setting makes you believe that all your dreams will come true some day, and I think that it is the perfect feeling! The animation is full of sincerity and kindness which as I believe, the main criteria of the children movies... The cartoon is interesting not only for children but also for teenagers and adults also, so it is the perfect choice for the family viewing, especially just before Christmas, to make you feel better that the holiday is coming soon. I really like the scene which mentions about Ded Moroz (Father Frost) who finds the lost boy’s bell:)I also enjoyed the episode with Scrooge as the reminder that the main thing is to believe and be inspired with such amazing and fascinating holiday as Christmas…All in all, “The Polar Express”, in spite of its comicalness and child spontaneity, contains of different, very serious and so important ideas such as friendship, kindness and others. The way all these themes are presented is the brilliant one because children, as well as all generations may get all these ideas easily through it.
